RDG006002 In another low pressure experiment, a subject is undergoing the self-mapping of the size of his visual field while he is under the effects of hypoxia. This study is of operational importance in determining the significance of the loss in visual fields at altitudes for aviation personnel and others working in or transiting through areas of reduced partial pressure.
