SOFTBALL, SAMOAN STYLE --- Tufi, barefooted second baseman on the American Samoan softball team, Navy South Pacific champions, slides safely home in the opening game of the Fourteenth Naval District Softball Elimination Tournament played at Pearl Harbor. The Samoan squad, composed of eleven natives (mostly Fita Fita Guardsmen) and five American bluejackets, hopes to reach the All-Navy finals.
