During the Okinawa campaign twelve Marine F4U Corsair squadrons served with the Tenth Army Tactical Air Force. Six squadrons were part of Task Force 58 carrier air groups. Marine Corsairs were also assigned to Marine Air Groups of Task Force 52Ã&
