During Operation Frequent Wind, USMC HMH-462 CH-53D Sea Stallion helos operated from USS Okinawa (LPH-3). The last helicopter (a HMM-164 Sea Knight) from the U.S. Embassy evacuation landed on the Okinawa at 0825 on 30 April 1975.
