Crewmen on board fleet U.S. Navy oiler USS Merrimack (AO-179) receive Senior Chief Electronics Technician Frank Hudson following a high line transfer from aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73) while operating in the Arabian Gulf, April 17, 1996. The two ships had just completed an underway replenishment and were transferring personnel prior to breakaway. The George Washington and the Merrimack are both currently deployed to the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch.
